Before downloading the Registration data to USB flash memory.

In order to use the Registration data downloaded from the website, your STAGEA has to be updated Ver.1.60 or higher.

To obtain a STAGEA firmware upgrade to version 1.73, you can either:

1. Obtain a SmartMedia card with STAGEA version 1.73 from your local Yamaha dealer.
2. Download the STAGEA version 1.73 firmware to your own SmartMedia card using Internet Direct Connection (IDC).
3. Download the STAGEA version 1.73 firmware to a USB flash drive from this site.

Note: USB flash drives cannot be used to update STAGEA to firmware versions prior to 1.6. To update to versions 1.6 or earlier, you will need to use a SmartMedia card.
