Description: This is an inspiring version of “America the Beautiful”. The melody begins in the primo part, then enters in the secondo part. The duet ends with a great forte finish!

Purpose: 1. To assist students in learning and experiencing ensemble playing.

2. To provide students with patriotic piano literature.

Suggestions for Instruction: Students should know when their part is the accompaniment and when it is the melody when they are playing. The student playing the primo part should learn the arpeggio passages specifically well.
