Gerald “Wig” Wiggins is a jazz institution. Part of the scene on both coasts since the '40s, he's performed as a pianist, accompanist, and composer with a virtual who's who of jazz greats: Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole, and Duke Ellington, among the many. His quiet, harmonically rich approach to standards is his trademark.
